Kingston Annual 2021 Call for Entries is being hosted by SmarterEntry. Please read the details below and click the button to enter. This will allow you to adjust and add to your entries up to the deadline. You will also be able to browse other calls for art and submit work to them.   • For all artists living and working in Kingston and the Mid-Hudson region.
  • All visual art forms in any medium will be accepted.
  • Digital images must be between 1 and 7 MB and must be in JPG format.
  • High resolution strongly preferred.
  • Submissions may not exceed 1500 sq.in. and a maximum of 50” and 35 lbs for hanging pieces and 75 lbs for free-standing work.
  • The first submitted piece is $15, subsequent pieces are $5 per piece up to a maximum of 5. All fees are non-refundable.
  • Deadline for submission is July 26 and notification of acceptance will occur by August 9.
  • There will be three Juror’s Choice Awards (one selected by each juror, $300 cash prize) and 3 Honorable Mentions awarded. All submissions will be anonymized to ensure a level playing field.
  • All selected works will be included in a full-color catalog available for purchase. Juror’s Choice Awardees will receive a complimentary copy.
  • All works must be delivered to the gallery on Tuesday, August 30 or Wednesday, September 1. All work must be professionally framed/mounted and ready to hang/display. No additional hardware for hanging will be accepted.
  • All selected work will be included in the online gallery. This online gallery will be active for one year and then archived for subsequent viewing unless removed by the written request of the artist.
  • Artist will receive 60% from a sale of their artwork. 40% fee will go to ASK and MAD Kingston.
  • The exhibition at ASK galleries will open on September 4 (1st Saturday) and work will be exhibited through the weekend of September 25-26. Gallery hours are Tue-Sun 1-6pm.
  • Pick up of unsold work will be Tuesday, September 28.
